A warm and welcoming primary school in Stourbridge is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with special educational needs and make a real difference in their learning and development. Main Responsibilities: * Support individual pupils or small groups with special educational needs, both in and out of the classroom * Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons * Implement strategies and interventions outlined in pupils’ EHCPs or support plans * Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment * Support behaviour management and promote emotional well-being Requirements: * Experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting is essential * Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff * A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach * Good communication skills and a proactive attitude Desirable: * Experience with phonics programmes (e.g. Read Write Inc., Letters and Sounds) * Familiarity with autism spectrum conditions, speech and language needs, or social/emotional challenges * Relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
