Job Title: Finance Team Leader
Robert Half is working on behalf of a Chippenham-based business to recruit a Finance Team Leader on a 6-month contract.
This role is suitable for someone with a strong knowledge of transactional finance, including Accounts Receivable. The ideal candidate will enjoy supporting a small team and have a proven track record of leading teams in a collaborative style.
Responsibilities include:
1. Manage client accounts for all billing and collection areas
2. Generate bespoke billing invoices and corresponding reports
3. Implement client-specified billing report changes
4. Submit monthly and daily postal invoices
5. Handle ad hoc invoicing for commissions, insurers, and clients
6. Resolve queries through credits or charges to clients as required
7. Manage client vendor portals to ensure accurate and updated information
8. Maintain all aspects of the Sales Ledger
9. Update and organize the sales ledger database and filing system
10. Work towards departmental and company KPIs
11. Establish contact with new clients and record account details
12. Maintain the Aged Debtor report
13. Compile official debt reports exceeding 90 days for management
14. Prepare and send Monthly Direct Debit files after reconciling balances
15. Apply received cash accurately to invoices and credit notes
16. Process vehicle disposal proceeds
17. Support and train Accounts Receivable Administrators and new team members
18. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
