Job summary
Opportunity has arisen for two Cataract Coordinators to join our team based in the Ophthalmology department.
Working across both sites at UHW and UHL, with working hours from 7:30am - 3:30pm, 8am - 4pm, or 8:30am - 4:30pm (to be confirmed upon appointment to meet service needs).
You will be part of a friendly team in a busy department, responsible for administering and coordinating surgical waiting lists to high standards. This includes managing COVID-19 test requests for surgical patients, monitoring and ensuring all patients have a negative COVID result before proceeding with their surgical booking.
We seek someone who enjoys meeting new people, possesses excellent communication skills, and can prioritize their workload effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Good IT skills and experience with Patient Management Systems (PMS) are essential.

Qualifications (Essential):
* Good GCSEs (6 or more, including English and Maths at grade C or above) or equivalent work experience.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
* Good IT skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook).
Desirable:
* ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence).
Experience (Essential):
* Customer service experience.
* Previous NHS experience.
Desirable:
* Medical records experience.
