Key Role
Manage the UK operations of WTA Energy UK Ltd, ensuring the highest level of excellence and efficiency and meeting the strategic goals. This is to include strategic planning in collaboration with the Managing Director & Other Senior Management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Excellence
To provide operational excellence for all clients for the following:
* Pricing
* General Operations
* Customs compliance
* NCRs
* Accruals
* Billing
* P&L reasons
* EGP v actual
* Internal meetings
* Client meetings & attend client visits
* Internal presentations
* Credit committee
* Identify operational efficiencies
* Other operational responsibilities as requested by the Directors.
2. Strategic Planning and Execution
* Operational Strategy: In collaboration with the MD and Senior Management, develop and implement operational strategies that align with WTA’s strategic priorities.
* Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Leadership and Management
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., finance, marketing, HR) to ensure coordinated efforts and effective communication across the organization.
4. Resource Management
* Budget Management: Oversee the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high operational standards.
* Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of resources to ensure optimal productivity and performance, engaging with HR to ensure we have the skills needed to achieve operational excellence.
5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
* KPI Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance, challenges, and initiatives.
6. Risk Management and Compliance
* Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks to operations and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
* Compliance: Ensure that operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
7. Customer and Stakeholder Focus
* Service Excellence: Ensure that operational processes support high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders (e.g., clients, suppliers, partners) to build strong relationships and support business objectives.
8. Technology and Innovation
* Technology Integration: Oversee the implementation of new technologies and systems that can enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Innovation: Promote a culture of innovation within the operations team, encouraging the exploration of new ideas and approaches.
9. Compliance
* Complete other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested
