Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate specializing in renewable energy to join our SES team. Our team has a national presence, and we welcome applications from candidates who can commute to any of our offices across the UK.

Your role will include:
* Acting as the technical and project lead for grid-scale/Front of the Meter renewable energy and storage consultancy projects, primarily battery and solar power, with experience in other technologies beneficial.
* Overseeing project delivery for your portfolio.
* Managing and developing client relationships.
* Managing project finances.
* Resource management for the team.
* Leading, recruiting, and developing team members.

Candidate requirements:
Ideally, you will have experience in:
* Grid connection processes for renewable projects (20-500MW scale)
* Renewable energy and storage development, including market and revenue streams
* Technical knowledge of renewable and energy storage technologies
* Working with TNO/DNO and renewable project development
* Planning processes for various project scales
* Supply chain and partner engagement
* Industry changes and opportunities
Beneficial but not essential:
* Business development in renewables
* Team operations and resource planning
* Management of junior staff
* Process and technical improvements
