About the role
As our Hairdresser (Bank shifts), youll play a key role in helping our residents look and feel their best by providing personalised hair care services in our in-house salon. You will ensure residents are offered a full range of services, including washing, cutting, colouring, and styling, all tailored to their individual preferences.
Heres Some Other Important Things You Need To Know
* Provide wash, cut, colour, and styling services to residents, ensuring they are given full choice and control over their hair appointments.
* Build positive relationships with residents and take time to understand their care needs, adapting your approach if those needs change.
* Ensure the resident experience is welcoming, friendly, and dignified at all times.
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe salon environment while working.
* Ensure towels and other laundry items are passed to the laundry team at the end of the day.
* Report any equipment issues promptly to the Home Manager.
* Keep track of supplies and complete purchase requests when items need restocking.
