An exciting opportunity to join an energetic Sales Team where you can take ownership of a customer portfolio in the Contract Catering/Compass sector, delivering sales growth and consistently providing top-tier service and support in accordance with the Sales Desk Quality Manual.

Key Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact: answer incoming calls within 3 rings and respond to emails within 24 hours.
* Manage Credit Control notes within 48 hours and communicate back orders clearly to customers.
* Process orders accurately to deliver outstanding customer service and minimise errors.
* Generate quotes within 48 hours, promoting sales and upselling where possible.
* Keep our systems updated consistently with accurate, relevant information.
* Spot and act on opportunities from calls and live chats to generate leads and drive sales.
* Use marketing materials and product knowledge to win business and propose alternatives to avoid back orders.
* Identify opportunities to switch customers to our exclusive brand and maximise profit margins on all sales.
* Support colleagues and management with tenders, product sourcing, and other sales initiatives.
* Achieve KPIs, maintain a positive attitude, and participate in regular 1-2-1s to grow skills and performance.
About You
* Customer-Focused: Experienced in office-based customer service and sales, hitting targets and driving results.
* Industry Knowledge: Familiar with catering equipment or related sectors and understanding customer needs.
* Communicator: Confident on the phone and in writing, building strong relationships at all levels.
* Tech-Savvy & Analytical: Computer literate, numerate, with strong admin and problem-solving skills.
* Proactive & Reliable: Tenacious, self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.
* Detail-Oriented: Methodical, disciplined, adaptable, with a perfectionist approach to tasks and processes.
