Location: Gillingham, office based.
Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in providing accurate, competitive quotations and tenders, working on projects that save lives and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
What you will be doing
As a Passive Fire Protection Estimator at Senseco Systems, you will be instrumental in providing precise cost estimates for both new installations and remedial works across a variety of passive fire protection services, including:
* Fire Doors
* Fire Dampers
* Fire Stopping
* Smoke Control Systems
You'll be working closely with internal teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure each project is properly costed and compliant with industry standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing detailed cost estimates for fire protection systems.
* Interpreting site reports, drawings, and client requirements.
* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to gather competitive pricing.
* Supporting tender submissions and proposal documentation.
* Collaborating with project managers for seamless project handovers.
* Keeping up to date with fire protection regulations and best practices.
Who we are looking for
Were looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach, and a genuine interest in the fire protection industry. Here's who will be a great fit for this role:
Preferred Experience:
* Proven experience in passive fire protection estimating, including fire doors, dampers, fire stopping, and smoke control systems.
* Experience with remedial works and understanding of fire safety compliance.
Were Also Open to Applicants Who Have:
* Estimating experience in construction, M&E, or related fields, with a strong desire to specialise in passive fire protection.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
* A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
