Key responsibilities
You will visit the client's home and have the following responsibilities: Support with personal hygiene and toileting needs. Prepare and serve breakfast, and make sandwiches for lunch.
About the client
Age: 77. Medical conditions: Very poor mobility. Additional health needs information: The client takes daily blood pressure medication.
Working pattern
7 hours per week.
Schedule
* one hour each morning
* Work environment: This is a smoke-free home.
Animal care
The client has a friendly dog named Vlad, who may bark on arrival but settles quickly. As part of this role, you will be required to feed Vlad and let him out into the garden after each visit.
Requirements
Spoken language: English. Qualifications: Care Certificate.
Job suitability
An organised, reliable and calm carer who is comfortable with routines, confident supporting medication needs, and takes pride in getting things done properly. A comfort around dogs is essential for this role.
