HR Assistant VANRATH is partnering with a well-established public sector organisation to recruit an HR Assistant to join their HR & Organisational Development team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on HR experience while providing high-quality administrative support and customer service. Key Responsibilities: Support recruitment: prepare documentation, schedule interviews, process pre-employment checks, and manage applicant records. Assist with onboarding: induction packs, policies, and liaising with line managers. Maintain personnel records and ensure GDPR compliance. Liaise with Payroll on starters, leavers, and contracts. Manage casual worker records and timekeeping queries. Process purchase orders and invoices; provide general admin support including filing, photocopying, and word processing. About You: Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English and Maths. At least 1 year of experience in administration, customer service, and Microsoft Office, HR Desirable.
