Car Parts Advisor role in Glasgow

Our client is seeking a dedicated Parts Advisor to join their busy distribution centre. Duties for this Parts Advisor role:
9. Meet and exceed vehicle parts and accessories sales targets through consultative selling and telesales efforts
10. Engage with customers via telephone to promote parts, accessories, and related services
11. Educate customers on the range of parts suitable for their needs, both face-to-face and over the phone
12. Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers to support business growth
13. Identify and develop new customer opportunities through proactive telesales activities
14. Manage customer accounts effectively to ensure retention and maximise sales opportunities
15. Maintain accurate electronic and paper records for orders and stock
16. Maximise customer satisfaction by providing a high standard of service in line with company standards
17. Assist colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
Requirements for the Parts Advisor role:
18. Recent or current experience as a Parts Advisor in the automotive industry
19. Experience in telesales or proactive customer communication is highly desirable
20. Ideally worked within motor factors, franchise approved dealerships, or similar environments
21. Strong communication and telephone skills
22. Good knowledge of electronic parts catalogue systems
23. Proven experience in customer management and development
24. UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
25. Organised and detail-oriented with good IT skills
