Overview
We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic Care Assistant for the Night shift at Westbourne Tower Care Home in Bournemouth. The role involves delivering high standards of personal care and supporting the care team to ensure continuous service for residents.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal hygiene, ensuring their dignity and independence.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls risk and signs of infection, and report any identified risks promptly.
* Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
* Practice safe systems of work across all tasks.
* Contribute fully to the care team to maintain continuity of services.
Qualifications
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate initiative and respect towards residents and colleagues.
* Be an efficient worker who can follow reasonable instructions from team members.
* Adaptable and flexible, able to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
Requirements
* DBS Disclosure check, cost borne by the employer.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
