* Competitive Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE
* £10,000 – £15,000 performance-related bonus upon successful registration and meeting agreed targets

About the Company
Our client is a Fully Funded, Brand-New Provider of Children’s Residential Care, launching their first 3-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) home in the Manchester area. With a clear mission to create safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environments for young people, the leadership team is committed to achieving the highest standards of care from the outset.
About the Role
An Exciting Opportunity to establish and lead a children’s home from the ground up. Our Client are looking for either an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager with the Level 5 Diploma (or working towards) who is ready to step up into their first Registered Manager role.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Ofsted registration process for the new home.
* Oversee the setup of the service, including policies, compliance, and recruitment of staff.
* Manage and inspire a new care team, embedding a positive and child-centred culture.
* Ensure the home meets all Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
* Deliver safe, therapeutic, and outcome-focused care for young people.
* Build strong working relationships with local authorities, families, and professionals.
* Drive the home to achieve and maintain at least a “Good” or “Outstanding” Ofsted rating.
Candidate Profile
* Experienced Registered Managers looking for a fresh challenge.
* Deputy Managers with a proven track record in residential childcare who hold (or are completing) the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
Required Skills
