We're recruiting experienced dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Workers to join our nurse‑led team at Cera to provide care to our clients in and around the Bembridge (PO35) area.
We are looking for a younger, high‑energy individual who shares a love for music and gaming to join our team. In this role, you'll be hands‑on with the controller, playing video games on the client's behalf and keeping the entertainment going. A great, quite sarcastic sense of humour is absolutely essential to match the client's personality, so if you love sharp wit, good music, and casual gaming, you'll fit right in!
Client Requirements
* Tracheostomy dependant
* PEG fed
* Quadriparesis
* Ventilation and BiPap
* Bulbar Palsy
* Seizures
Shifts
* Nights available from 10pm to 8am
Training & Support
We provide a comprehensive clinical training and induction programme, overseen by professional nurses, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your role working as a Care Worker in the Specialist Team.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Responsibilities include:
* Providing companionship and comfort to clients.
* Assisting with medical needs as per client requirements.
* Engaging clients in entertainment activities such as video games.
Qualifications and required abilities:
* Excellent people skills and strong communication.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
* Robust DBS/PVG check and references.
* Right to work in the UK.
