Position Summary: This is a full-time position in the Technical Operations team within the Operations and Regulatory department, working in our Cambridge office on a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days in the office).


We’re recruiting for a driven professional to contribute to the product lifecycle management of Cycle’s commercial products. In this key Technical Operations role, you’ll apply your technical expertise and analytical mindset while continuing to learn and grow. You’ll help drive high-quality project execution and technical processes through effective collaboration with both vendors and internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing In This Role:


* Support technical activities for commercial API and drug product manufacturing across our CMO network, including investigations, change controls, and CAPAs.
* Build and develop strong working relationships with new and existing third-party vendors.
* Support manufacturing improvement projects to meet Cycle’s timelines, costs, and milestones while ensuring effective vendor management.
* Provide cover for the Technical Team during absences.
* Collaborate on project planning and project scoping for cost reduction and robustness improvement activities for commercial manufacturing.
* Maintain knowledge of relevant guidance (in particular US-FDA focused)
* Execute assigned tasks relating to commercial products, following SOPs / guidelines and making suggestions for improvement on processes.
* Contribute to; data trending, risk assessments, deviation investigations and change controls.
* Participate in projects, discussions and team meetings to improve knowledge and contribute new ideas.


The following skills and experience will be important in helping to set you up to succeed in this role:


* Scientific or Engineering Degree or equivalent experience within the Pharmaceutical or Life Science industry.
* Proven practical experience within the pharmaceutical industry including at least one of the following manufacturing processes: Tablet compression, Wet or dry granulation, Coating, Encapsulation, Lyophilisation, Solution/suspension manufacturing.
* Knowledge and application of ICH guidelines.
* Ability to work in a proactive and autonomous manner, as well as being part of a team.
* Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships across the organisation and with external partners.
* Enthusiasm and personal initiative to solve problems, a self-starter with ability to work unsupervised.
* Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Quality focused and high attention to detail.


Desirable skills that would support in this role but by no means essential:


* Analytical QC method development and/or validation
* Risk assessments
* Lean Six Sigma Methodologies
* Quality by Design
* Data Trending and associated statistical knowledge
