Community Teacher - Alternative Provision | North Northamptonshire | £30,000 - £40,000 | Full-Time | Permanent

The PWR team is working in close partnership with an alternative education provider in North Northamptonshire who are seeking a Community Teacher to join their dedicated team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a small caseload of up to five students at a time, delivering bespoke teaching and pastoral support in community-based settings-such as students' homes, local venues, or other safe spaces. The aim is to re-engage learners who have faced barriers to accessing mainstream education and help guide them back into a structured learning environment.

This is a highly rewarding position within an organisation that invests in its staff and offers a supportive culture, ongoing professional development, and a focus on wellbeing:

* Fully funded professional development and training (including paid qualifications)

* Medicash scheme for health treatments-covering dental, optical, prescriptions and more (up to £900 per year)

* Enhanced maternity/paternity leave

* Death in service insurance (4x salary)

* Cycle to Work scheme

* MiRewards discount platform (fuel, shopping and more)

* £500 referral bonus

* Staff recognition programme with monthly, quarterly and annual awards

* Annual team conference and full benefits review

* Enhanced Employee Assistance Programme

What we're looking for:

We're keen to speak to passionate educators with the confidence and creativity to deliver 1:1 or small-group sessions beyond the classroom setting.

Key requirements:

* Teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or willingness to work towards one

* Degree or equivalent, with Maths and English at Level 2 or above

* Strong organisational and administrative skills

* Ability to build rapport and engage hard-to-reach learners

* Knowledge of safeguarding, inclusion and equality in an alternative education context

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Experience working across the secondary age range

* Experience using online learning platforms (desirable)

* A proactive and adaptable approach to education, with a genuine passion for helping young people succeed

If you're ready to take on a role that makes a meaningful difference in young people's lives, we want to hear from you.
