TM Scotland is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a brand-new client in Falkirk, who is seeking an experienced Transport Despatcher to join their growing team. This is a long-term temporary opportunity with real potential for progression, based within a well-organised and supportive environment.
About the Role: As a Transport Despatcher, youll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of transport operations. Working closely with the warehouse, planning, and sales teams, you'll ensure all incoming and outgoing loads are processed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Manage incoming loads from core vehicles and subcontracted hauliers
Accurately input load details into booking systems for stock allocation
Process and dispatch outgoing loads via Ortec and AX systems
Handle all associated paperwork and administrative tasks
Process returns to stock
Liaise with transport planners regarding delays or issues
Serve as a key contact for the sales team regarding stock and delivery queries
What Were Looking For: Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or despatch role
Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
Confident communicator who can liaise across multiple departments
Able to prioritise tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, professional, and eager to contribute to team success
Whats on Offer: £12.21 per hour (paid weekly through Taskmaster PAYE)
Monday to Friday 10 am to 6 pm
Long-term ongoing contract with opportunity for progression
Supportive team and management, with training provided
Immediate start available for the right candidate
