Building Physics Consultant : Energy Modelling (TAS Focus)
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: GBP35,000 : GBP45,000
Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote)
The Opportunity
Were partnering with a well:established building services consultancy that is continuing to expand its building physics and sustainability capabilities. They are looking to bring on a Building Physics Consultant with a strong focus on energy modelling using TAS to support a diverse range of projects.
This position offers the opportunity to work across sectors including healthcare, education, residential, and commercial, with a clear emphasis on low:energy, performance:driven design.

What Youll Be Doing
* Deliver dynamic thermal and energy modelling, primarily using TAS
* Support compliance with UK Building Regulations (Part L)
* Contribute to building performance analysis and design optimisation
* Collaborate with design teams to enhance energy efficiency and occupant comfort
* Assist with BREEAM assessments, particularly thermal comfort analysis
* Produce clear and concise technical reports and simulation outputs
* Provide input during project discussions with a focus on building performance
What Were Looking For
* 2+ years experience in building physics or energy modelling
* Strong hands:on experience with TAS (or similar software)
* Good understanding of UK Building Regulations, particularly Part L
* Familiarity with BREEAM, especially thermal comfort criteria
* Relevant degree (e.g. Building Services, Environmental Engineering)
* Strong communication skills and a team:oriented approach
