An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Consultant in Restorative Dentistry based at Aberdeen Dental Hospital and Institute of Dentistry.
This replacement post is available with immediate effect and is offered on a whole-time or part-time basis.
The Restorative Dentistry service provides specialist treatment across all branches of the discipline and provides diagnostic advice and treatment planning for General Dental Practitioners.
The successful applicant will have a broad interest in Restorative Dentistry including in the delivery of multi-disciplinary care involving Head and Neck Oncology.

Those trained in the UK should have evidence of successful completion (Certificate of Completion of Training) of a five-year minimum GDC approved specialist training programme in Restorative Dentistry, or equivalent, and be on the General Dental Council Specialist List for Restorative Dentistry, or be within six months of eligibility of these from the date of interview.
Registered dentists who do not hold a CCT and are applying to join the Specialist List in Restorative Dentistry via the General Dental Council's 'Specialist List Assessed Applications' route are only eligible to apply for a substantive Consultant post once the General Dental Council has approved their entry on the General Dental Council Specialist List in Restorative Dentistry.
