StructureCare are CPG's Specialist in-house Contractor who are focused on the Repair, Maintenance and Protection of Buildings and Structures throughout the UK and are seeking to appoint a Construction Manager for the Roofing division.
This opportunity offers significant potential for growth working as part of a dynamic and driven team, working primarily with Tremco CPG systems, but also having access to the wider portfolio of RPM International businesses, products, systems, people and support.
The Person -
To be successful in the role we are looking for a person who:
* Has a passion for Construction Project Management, as well as proven knowledge and a track record in the Construction Industry, and within our sector. Experience within Roofing is essential.
* Can demonstrate experience and competence in both Project Management and Construction Principles, having worked in a similar role.
* Is motivated to learn and develop your own skills and be prepared to play an integral role as part of the wider team to look for developmental growth and seek continual improvement throughout all aspects of the role.
Duties and Responsibilities
– will include:
* Leadership of Regional Construction Projects across the roofing sectors including Liquid Roofing and Flat Roofing.
* Support the Field Operations Manager in all areas, extending support to the wider team as required
* Ensure of timely and effective Communication and Planning of Projects to ensure that we are fully prepared in all areas, enabling us to deliver to our full potential.
* Ensure that Project Scopes, Specifications, and Quality objectives are clear, understood and communicated with the wider Project Management Team and Supervisors, with guidance and instruction being given to ensure that works are delivered with a right-first-time mentality.
* Lead and manage our relationship with our client and any relevant stakeholders.
* Plan and attend Pre-Start meetings, ensuring that we use this final pre-contract opportunity to reach agreement on project particulars.
* Ensure that we capture site specific information and risks as required, both in advance and throughout the life of a project.
* Ensure effective creation and management of Project documentation across all aspects of Project delivery.
* Oversee and approve all materials, plant and PPE are ordered in good time, and within budget allowances, to enable the successful and safe execution of a project. Review and approve all invoices.
* Lead and work with the Supervisors, providing support and direction to ensure that we deliver projects Safely, On Time, and within Budget.
