Lecturer Health & Social CareSalary: £24,050 £35,401 (30 hours/week)Pro rata to full time salary of£29,662 - £43,662 Location: Cambridge (Huntingdon Campus) Are you a passionate Health & Social Care professional with a flair for teaching? We are seeking an inspirational Lecturer to join the Care, Health & Early Years team on a part-time, full-year basis. * Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across Level 2 and Level 3 Health & Social Care programmes, including the upcoming T-Level in Health Science
* Provide associated tutorial support and guidance to learners
* Potentially take on the role of course leader for one or more programmes
* Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
* Support learners academic and personal development, promoting safeguarding and welfare
* Contribute to continuous improvement and professional development initiatives
What were looking for:
* Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualifications and occupational experience in Health & Social Care
* Full teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLS) or willingness to undertake L5 Diploma in Education & Training if holding L3 teaching qualification
* Experience teaching and assessing Health & Social Care or Health Science programmes
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for inspiring learners
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with learners and provide personal guidance
* Knowledge of safeguarding, student welfare policies, and effective problem-solving
Working pattern:
* 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (not Thursday)
* Primarily face-to-face teaching with flexible agile working options available
