Responsibilities as a Fire and Security Engineer
* Carry out the installation, small works, servicing, and fault finding of a range of fire and security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
* Work across a variety of sites including business parks, commercial premises, and energy provider locations, delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service.
* Manage a workload split of approximately 60% installations and small works, with 40% servicing, maintenance, and reactive fault response.
* Diagnose and resolve system faults efficiently while ensuring all systems remain fully operational and compliant with current industry standards.
* Complete system testing, commissioning, and handovers where required, ensuring accurate documentation is completed for all works carried out.
* Travel across the West and East Midlands as part of the role, with occasional working away required throughout the year.
* Maintain strong communication with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations, company procedures, and relevant British Standards.

* Basic salary up to £40,000 with realistic OTE of £50,000+.
