We’re Hiring – Residential Support Workers (Children’s Services) on a perm basis

Social Care Recruitment are seeking compassionate, resilient and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our team supporting children and young people aged 11–17 with emotional/behavioural needs.
X3 night shifts per week (36 hours total)
20:00 - 08:00 + ability to pick up extra shifts
Key Responsibilities

Provide consistent emotional, practical and behavioural support
*
Maintain a safe, nurturing and positive environment
*
Promote independence through structured routines and life skills coaching
*
Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
*
Support individuals with challenging behaviours, trauma and complex needs
*
Participate in in-house and community-based activities
*
Work collaboratively as part of a committed, child-focused team
*
Follow safeguarding principles and Children’s Home Regulations (Ofsted)
What We’re Looking For
*
Full-time availability (Essential)
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Essential)
*
Minimum 6 months’ UK social care experience (children or adults)
*
A proactive, resilient and confident approach
*
A genuine passion for supporting young people
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred — can be arranged if needed)
*
Willing to be put on the Level 3 Residential Course and complete training provided by the company
