HR Advisor (Part-Time) Location: Ashbourne Hours: 20 hours a week We're looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our People Team and play a key role in supporting both managers and employees across day-to-day HR operations. This role will be a job share and require flexibility and good team work. Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you'll deliver a high-quality, generalist HR service aligned to best practice, employment law, and our wider people strategy. This is a hands-on role where you'll have real influence on engagement, culture, and performance at site level. What You'll Be Doing Provide confident, practical HR advice to managers on employee relations, policies, and people matters. Manage ER cases including absence, discipline, grievance, and capability. Support the delivery of people metrics such as absence, retention, and engagement. Maintain accurate HR data and ensure compliance with data protection standards. Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities. Champion diversity, wellbeing, and employee engagement initiatives. Support training compliance, learning & development, and Health & Safety initiatives. Work alongside Occupational Health and support customer and ethical audits. What We're Looking For Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role (or similar). Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. Confident communicator who can influence and build relationships at all levels. Experience using HR systems and handling sensitive information. Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused with a flexible approach.
