ROLE: Laboratory Supervisor - Hazardous Waste Management
As a Laboratory Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining efficient operations and driving continuous improvement within the laboratory. You will oversee bench-scale trials and research initiatives focused on contaminated soils and waste. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping full-scale remediation projects, ensuring effective solutions.
This dynamic, hands-on position involves sampling, laboratory and field testing, and data analysis.
EXPERIENCE: Laboratory Supervisor - Hazardous Waste Management
A degree in a science-based discipline is preferred, though candidates with A-level qualifications in relevant subjects will also be considered. Previous experience in a laboratory setting is essential, along with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols in laboratory environments. UKAS, ISO 17025, and ISO 9001 standards are expected, with a key role in ensuring compliance. A valid driving license is necessary. Additional beneficial qualifications include CIWM (WAMITAB) Level 4 Operator Competence Scheme, IOSH, NEBOSH, ISO auditor training, and ISO 9001 training, though these are not essential.
