Position: Import Operator - Ocean & Air Freight
Location: SO14, Southampton
Salary: up to £35,000pa (Negotiable)
Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30 - 17:00pm

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Import Operator to join a thriving freight forward company in Southampton. This role offers an exciting chance to work with high-profile customers and manage the full end-to-end import process, from origin to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage ocean and air imports, ensuring smooth transportation from origin to destination.
Handle all aspects of import customs clearance, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Work closely with key account customers to ensure their requirements are met with precision.
Utilize your expertise with Cargowise to manage shipments efficiently and accurately.
Experience with ASM Sequoia is a plus, helping to streamline operations even further.What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in managing import operations working with a UK freight forwarding company, including customs entries.
Strong knowledge of the logistics and shipping industry, particularly in ocean and air imports.
Cargowise expertise is a must-have.
Familiarity with ASM Sequoia will give you an edge!
A high level of attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.What You'll Get:
