About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team from September. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working with class teachers to provide high-quality education and ensuring that all pupils are engaged, challenged, and supported in their development.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and learning activities.
* Lead small group interventions and provide 1:1 support for pupils where needed.
* Assist with the planning, preparation, and organisation of learning resources.
* Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to promote an inclusive learning environment.
* Support children's social, emotional, and behavioural development.
* Contribute to assessing, recording, and monitoring pupils' progress.
* Supervise pupils during non-teaching times as required (e.g., playtimes, lunchtimes, school trips).
* Uphold safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all pupils.
Person Specification
Essential:
* Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience of working within a primary school setting.
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and strategies for supporting learning.
* Ability to motivate and inspire children of all abilities.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to teamwork and professional development.
