A leading manufacturing organisation are looking for a permanent Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Milton Keynes, offering a salary of up to £35,000.
This position requires someone with proven expertise in international freight operations, customs compliance, and export documentation. This role has full ownership of end-to-end logistics execution across road, sea, and air freight, ensuring compliant, cost-effective, and on-time delivery across UK, European, Far East, and Middle East markets.
Candidates will have previous experience within logistics and freight/customs compliance.
Role responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator include:
1. Manage end-to-end international freight operations across road, sea, and air, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective deliveries worldwide.
2. Prepare and validate commercial invoices, customs declarations, and export documentation with full accuracy, including HS codes, Incoterms, and customs values.
3. Oversee customs compliance, calculating duties, verifying commodity codes, and managing post-Brexit import/export procedures to ensure regulatory adherence.
4. Coordinate dangerous goods shipments, ensuring proper classification, documentation, and compliance with IATA, IMDG, and ADR standards.
