Senior Residential Support Worker – Children’s Home
Location: Preston
Salary: Up to £34,800 per year
Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People)

What You’ll Do:
* Contribute to care plans and risk assessments for young people, including review and implementation.
* Form effective relationships with young people, their families (if appropriate) and external agencies.
* Ensure the home remains clean and tidy, following the cleaning rota and encouraging participation.
* Maintain high quality records as required, with supervision and advice from shift managers.
* Promote residential care work to a high level of professionalism expected by Esland and Ofsted.
* Support the educational and social development of each young person, assisting with Individual Education Programs.
* Meet the emotional and physical needs of young people and maximize opportunities for their development.
* Assist the deputy/manager of the home during shifts and perform senior duties as directed.
What You’ll Need:
* Proven experience in residential childcare.
* Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People).
* Full UK driving licence – essential for transporting young people and attending external meetings.
* Calm, resilient, compassionate approach to care.
* Ability to work shift patterns, including sleep ins (rota plan likely 2 on 4 off).
