My client is looking for Station Maintenance Technicians (SMT) to join there growing team in Drift NN6. Looking for highly motivated Station Maintenance Technician (SMT) with experience in LNG (liquified natural gas), cryogenic industrial gases, hazardous areas, pressure systems, and expertise in rotating machinery, service maintenance and commissioning to work on Open Access LNG Refuelling Station. The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to carry out planned and corrective maintenance activities and supervise site operations. They will be responsible for ensuring safety and regulatory compliance at the station at all times, taking ownership of the site during their shift, and ensuring the safe operation and reliability of the equipment. To ensure the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of the LNG station through routine maintenance, first-line fault response, and on-site supervision. The SMT is the responsible person on shift, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and acting as the first responder for site incidents. The primary objectives of this role will be: 1. Perform planned preventative, statutory and safety-critical maintenance to maximise uptime and compliance 2. Minor breakdown repairs, corrective maintenance, including but not limited to the replacement of dispenser components, station resets, lowering tank pressures and other equipment and facilities maintenance. Minor repairs are carried out to minimise downtime. 3. Adhere to Safety Management System (SMS) 4. Act as on-site First Responder, support first aid and coordinate with the Remote Monitoring Centre (RMC) 5. Recording of all maintenance activities on CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Software). 6. Supervise contractors, issue permits, and conduct isolations for safe working 7. Management of site spares and equipment, including stock take and order replenishment of spares through our internal processes and reporting back to Maintenance Coordinator. 8. Diagnose and escalate faults in collaboration with RMC, Engineers and O&M Technicians 9. Record and investigate incidents and near misses in line with HSSE procedures 10. Assist customers with refuelling issues and perform commissioning fills (first/warm fills) 11. Monitor and enforce safe refuelling practices and correct PPE use 12. Manage traffic and customer flow during outages 13. Collaborate with SMTs across shifts and sites to share learnings and optimise performance 14. Support Operations Manager in regularly reviewing operational performance and issues at the site. 15. Supervise Bulk Tanker deliveries and LNG Stock management. Recommend tank levels and prioritise tank filling. Required Experience: * Experience as a Maintenance/Service Technician in the process industry or a similar industrial setting. * Technician/engineer with recognised diplomas or equivalent, relevant technical certifications or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is a plus. * Strong understanding of rotating machinery and process equipment, including compressors, pumps, valves and control systems. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, technical drawings, and equipment manuals. * Experience with using maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS). * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. * High commitment to safety in hazardous environments. Additional Experience may include: Understanding and experience of LNG/CNG refuelling stations. Knowledge and understanding of cryogenic principles, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics is a plus.
