Operations Manager – Cosmetic Inspection Services
Location: Hybrid (Home, Field & Occasional Office based)

The Role:
To lead and manage the cosmetic inspection operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across the team. The role involves driving operational performance, developing client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth and profitability of the inspection services division.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and mentor a team of vehicle cosmetic inspectors to deliver high-quality inspection services.
* Oversee daily operations and ensure alignment with the wider vehicle inspection strategy.
* Conduct regular client review meetings (in person and via Teams) to strengthen partnerships and identify opportunities to expand service offerings.
* Review and approve inspection reports, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with client requirements and internal KPIs/SLA targets.
* Manage budgets, including cost control, expense approvals, and monthly invoicing submissions.
* Work closely with administration, finance, and business development teams to ensure smooth operational coordination.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge Required:
* Proven experience in the automotive sector, ideally within vehicle inspection, repair, or body shop operations.
* Strong understanding of cosmetic and mechanical repair processes.
* Strong communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills.
* Experience managing operational teams, preferably in a field-based or multi-site environment.
* Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and understanding P&L performance.
* Familiarity with systems such as Audatex or VDA.
