Health Visitor - Wakefield

Wakefield Growing Healthy 0-19 Service is looking for enthusiastic, dynamic, experienced Health Visitors who want to lead and support the training of future Health Visitors. We also welcome applications from Student SCPHN HVs due to qualify in September.
Joining our team, you will deliver the Healthy Child Programme to families across Wakefield. Work in partnership with local agencies to ensure positive outcomes for children and families. We follow the principles of the Best Start in Life, supporting integrated working and learning with Wakefield Families Together partners. As a high-performing team, we seek qualified health visitors to lead our skill mix team, train future health visitors, and support families in delivering the Healthy Child Programme.

Person Specification
Essential and Desirable
* Registered Nurse with NMC PIN
* Specialist knowledge relevant to working with children and families, supported by theory
* Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
* Knowledge of national children's and family policies and strategies
* Experience promoting safeguarding and wellbeing of children
* Leadership experience in health services for children, young people, and families
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check due to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
