Contract: 6 - 12 Month Contract
Work arrangement: Mostly remote with occasional site visits (full time on site can also be accommodated)
Job Role: The Contractor Engineer is required to undertake a role within the Aircraft Systems Design Team of our client’s Airborne ISR business, supporting aircraft projects. The work shall be performed under both civil and military regulatory environments.
The role involves collating, acquiring and logging design data and ensuring product conformity to enable test and certification of aircraft modifications. Examples include aircraft system configuration states, weight analysis, flammability test reporting, and production of certification letters.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with modification Design Engineers to support the production of modification documentation.
* Identify, collate and reference design data using Windchill PDM tools and network files.
* Produce certification evidence forms and letters to support Certification Validation Engineer (CVE) approval.
* Produce test documentation and other analyses/reports.
* Produce modification control documentation.
Key Attributes
* Experience as an Avionic and/or Electrical Systems Engineer with design, integration and certification experience in an aerospace environment.
* Understanding of initial airworthiness regulations (e.g., FAA or EASA: FAR 23, FAR 25, CS 23, CS 25).
* Experience in multi-disciplinary aerospace engineering teams.
* UK National, with current SC security clearance or eligible to obtain clearance.
