Carpentry Site Manager Required in SwanleyGVR Solutions are currently working alongside an existing client of ours who are a specialist Carpentry and Joinery contractor based in Kent who are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their well-established team. They have just landed a project in Kent which is a New build and timber frame project of a Primary and Secondary School. Responsibilities of the Carpentry Site Manager:Oversee the day to day running of the siteControl and implement health and safety on siteManage quality control and progressive handovers of installationCo-ordinate site activities in line with programme sequenceSchedule materials and deliveries in adequate timeAttend progress meetingsOversee projects from start through to completion, ensuring works are completed on timeManage record keeping for all contract related correspondence and documentationProvide contract related issue resolution, both internally and externally As a Carpentry Site Manager you must have/be:Experience as a Site ManagerMinimum of 5 years’ experience in the Carpentry and Joinery sectorAbility to work to programmes and deadlines and be flexible to adapt to change.Have great attention to detailCSCS CardSMSTS card holder.Demonstrate negotiation and problem solvingExcellent verbal communication skillsIf you are interested in the Carpentry Site Manager role, then please get in touch.
