Procurement Manager
📍 London | Full-time | Global remit
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join a growing, highly specialised procurement team operating within the wider world of 1508 London. Procurement here is not a back-office function. It is a hands-on, relationship-driven discipline, connecting design intent with craft, manufacturing, logistics, and delivery across hospitality and residential projects worldwide.
You will be joining a specialised procurement team with its own culture, expertise, and momentum, working closely alongside international design teams.
The Role
This is an immersive, varied role for someone who enjoys being visible and involved. From early supplier engagement and specification through to factory visits, quality control, site visits, consultant coordination, installation, and final delivery, you will be embedded in the full lifecycle of projects.
Travel is a natural and encouraged part of the role, including factory visits, QC inspections, site and installation phases, supplier meetings, trade fairs, and industry events.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end procurement across multiple live projects
* Lead supplier tendering processes, cost analysis, and commercial comparisons
* Manage procurement budgets, cost control, and value alignment throughout project lifecycles
* Support programme planning, lead times, and delivery scheduling in coordination with project teams
* Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers in line with a rigorous vetting process
* Build and maintain long-term supplier partnerships across Europe and extended geographies
* Lead contract negotiation and contract management
* Coordinate factory visits, QC checks, site visits and coordination with consultants and stakeholders, and installation phases
* Support global logistics planning and delivery
* Maintain accurate procurement tracking, reporting, and forecasting
About You
You are commercially astute, organised, and comfortable working independently. You communicate clearly, present confidently, and take pride in representing your team and suppliers.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
* Experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain roles within the luxury, hospitality, and/or residential sectors
* Strong tendering, cost management, and supplier negotiation expertise
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Advanced Excel skills and experience using Studio Designer or similar procurement/specification databases
* Knowledge of global logistics and international supply chains
* Familiarity with Adobe and/or CAD is preferred but not essential
Why Join Us
You’ll join a close, collaborative team where procurement is valued, visible, and evolving. There is real opportunity to learn, develop, contribute ideas, and grow with a team working at an international level.
Salary is competitive, with company benefits and bonus schemes available.
