Computer Science Teacher – Full-Time, Long-Term Position
Location: Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
Salary: £34,398 – £46,839 per annum (dependent on experience)
Start Date: February 2026
We are working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in Rickmansworth to recruit a passionate and skilled Computer Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from February 2026.

This role is ideal for a teacher with a strong interest in technology and computing who is keen to inspire young people and prepare them for an increasingly digital future.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
* Plan and teach engaging lessons that develop problem-solving, coding, and analytical skills
* Support students in developing practical computing skills, including programming and digital literacy
* Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration of new technologies
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, shared resources, and best practice
* Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities such as coding clubs and tech challenges
Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (preferred but not essential)
* Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge in programming, algorithms, and digital technologies
* Ability to inspire students and foster a passion for computing
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Committed to developing students’ technical skills and future career readiness
* Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
