About the Role
Toomey Motor Group is seeking an experienced and driven General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and contribute to the continued success of our Omoda & Jaecoo dealership in Chelmsford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated automotive sales professional with a proven track record in leadership and performance management within the motor industry, the successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years successful history as a General Sales Manager & previously worked in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Sales Executives to achieve and exceed goals.
* Drive vehicle sales performance and maximise profitability.
* Maintain and manage an effective customer and sales diary system.
* Liaise closely with the service department to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.
* Organise and represent the business at off-site promotional and sales events.
* Monitor sales processes, customer satisfaction, and team performance to ensure high standards are maintained.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years experience as a General Sales Manager within the automotive industry.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Proven ability to deliver sales growth and achieve targets.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Candidates holding only a provisional licence cannot be considered due to company insurance requirements.
Working Hours
* 5-day working week
* Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
