Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:15pm

Looking to make a real difference in a child’s day?
We’re working with a welcoming primary school in West Leeds looking for a compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time role supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them feel confident, calm, and ready to learn.
You’ll be working across different year groups, so every day brings something new. One morning might be phonics support in KS1, the next helping a pupil settle into maths in KS2.

What the role involves
* Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Helping pupils stay engaged, regulated, and confident during lessons
* Providing support across different year groups when needed
* Creating a calm, supportive learning environment

What we’re looking for
* Experience working with children in any setting
* Good knowledge of special educational needs from personal or professional experience
* A patient, positive, and proactive approach
* Availability Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:15pm
* Able to start ASAP or April 2026

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
