Are you a Management Accountant looking to take on more responsibility and move your career forwards? This opportunity would be a great move for you if you are! As the Finance Manger you will support the Financial Controller and oversee a small team.
As the Finance Manager your responsibilities include;
* Produce monthly management accounts including P&L accounts, balance sheets and cash flows providing commentary on results and key variances.
* Prepare year-end financial statements.
* Assist in the management of the external audit process.
* Key monthly activities will include: banking; approving purchase invoices and expenses; reviewing of purchase and credit control ledgers; payroll approval; balance sheet reconciliations; P&L reviews.
* Manage cash flow and expenses
* Assist in regulatory reporting framework
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Deputise for the Financial Controller as team manager when required.
The deal candidate will have;
* Qualified or nearly to qualifying
* 5 years’ experience in an accounting role
* Proven experience in financial and management accounting.
* Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
* Experienced user of general ledger and ERP systems
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficient in financial software applications and Microsoft Excel.
* Experience of presenting data in PowerPoint.
