Position Overview: The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to a portfolio of existing customers while, simultaneously, cultivating new relationships with prospective new clients. Understanding the customers’ needs will be paramount to collaboratively work with both internal and external stakeholders to provide our customers with cost effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales and excellent communication skills. Extensive UK and some international travel will be required to fulfil this role. Key Responsibilities: Technical Sales: In collaboration with the engineering department, develop technical sales solutions and strategies to meet company goals always ensuring that the customers’ needs are heard and met. Customer Support: Provide technical support and guidance to customers. Market development: Identify and cultivate new opportunities, both with existing customers and prospective new customers, to increase Axon’ market share. Solution Selling: Collaborate with customers to identify the most appropriate solution for their requirements using Axon’s design and product expertise. Account Management: Manage and nurture an existing portfolio of accounts ensuring continued growth, elevated levels of customer service and long-term relationships. Sales Forecasting: Maintain a Sales Forecast and funnel, providing regular insights to the Sales Manager Collaboration: Collaborate with Internal teams to ensure customers service is maintained across all departments
