Within Roads Operations, the post holder will manage the daily running of frontline service delivery, coordinate, and assign tasks to roads squads and operatives.
You will lead and supervise squads and operatives to execute work instructions related to road, footway, drainage, road markings, signing, and lighting works. Your role is to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, economically, and to the required quality standards and performance targets. Additionally, you will participate proactively in winter and emergency services during regular hours and standby out of hours as needed.
The post holder may also perform duties as a working member of a squad if required.
Meeting deadlines for yourself and your team is essential for success in this role.
