SEN Teaching Assistant - Sefton

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be a vital part of the support system for students with special educational needs. Your main duties will include:
* Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students in the classroom and during specialised sessions.
* Encouraging students to engage in their learning and contribute to their well‑being.
* Keeping detailed records of student progress and behaviour.
* Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
* Building positive relationships with students and colleagues as a valuable member of the school team.
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A minimum of 6 months of experience assisting children with SEN in a UK classroom setting.
* A valid Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for a new one).
* The legal right to work in the UK.
* A strong commitment to inclusive education and continuous professional development.
