Since its inception, THP has worked on over 150 live theatrical productions and numerous productions created and filmed specifically for platforms such as Sky, BBC, Amazon Prime, BroadwayHD, Broadway On Demand, and the educational platform Digital Theatre Plus. THP is recognised as an industry leader, specialising in transatlantic partnerships and supporting productions through its full-service organisation. THP’s productions on Broadway include; Robert Icke’s Oedipus, new musical Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), and Liberation. THP’s productions in the UK include the return of the critically acclaimed tour of The Talented Mr. Ripley, Allegra starring Dame Maureen Lipman and Glorious! starring Wendi Peters. In London THP will produce the UK premiere The Jonathan Larson Project. In 2025 THP produced This Bitter Earth, directed by Grammy Award, Emmy, and three-time Tony Award®-winning Billy Porter, at the Soho Theatre in London’s West End, as well as the highly regarded Rose, starring Dame Maureen Lipman at the Ambassadors Theatre. THP is passionate about creating new theatrical experiences and productions. Among THP’s current slate of development, some of the highlights include a new version of Boy George’s autobiographical musical Taboo, with plans to open in 2027; a new family musical by Olivier Award-winning composer Vikki Stone, based on the iconic BAFTA winning BBC TV show Maid Marian and Her Merry Men by Sir Tony Robinson. Also in 2026, THP will be producing the major UK revival of Alan Menken and Howard Ashman’s hit musical Little Shop of Horrors directed by Tony®-nominated Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, running at The Hope Mill Theatre for a ten week run followed by a six week run at The Liverpool Playhouse. Role Summary As Thomas Hopkins Productions continues to grow, we are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to work closely with the Founder, Thomas Hopkins, and support the wider Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity to operate at the centre of a fast-paced and ambitious creative business, working in close partnership with the Founder across productions, projects, and industry engagements. You will play a pivotal role in enabling the Founder to operate at their highest level, ensuring their time, priorities, and relationships are managed with precision and care. At the core of the role is ownership of a complex and ever-evolving diary and inbox — requiring proactive scheduling, confident prioritisation, and seamless coordination across a wide range of stakeholders. You will take the lead in forward-planning, managing competing demands, and ensuring the Founder is consistently prepared and aligned across all commitments. Working closely with senior leadership and leading industry collaborators, this role offers significant exposure to the inner workings of a growing production company. It is ideally suited to a highly capable Executive Assistant who thrives on pace, responsibility, and the opportunity to have a tangible impact within a collaborative, high-performing environment. Key Responsibilities Executive Support to the Founder Manage the Founder’s complex and constantly evolving diary, ensuring time is used effectively and priorities are reflected. Act as a key point of coordination for incoming requests, supporting prioritisation and protecting the Founder’s time where appropriate. Manage inbox activity, drafting responses, tracking follow-ups, and ensuring timely communication. Proactively schedule and coordinate meetings, ensuring clear logistics and preparation. Arrange domestic and international travel, including itineraries and logistics. Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and supporting documents for meetings and engagements. Anticipate scheduling conflicts and support their resolution efficiently. Liaise with agents, producers, creatives, venues, collaborators, and other stakeholders. Provide discreet support across professional and occasional personal logistics where required. Business & Team Support Support coordination across the Leadership Team, helping to organise meetings and maintain alignment. Track key actions and deadlines, ensuring follow-up where needed. Assist with planning leadership meetings, off-sites, and key business sessions. Contribute to improving systems and processes to support efficient ways of working. Support clear communication across teams where required. Events, Productions & Stakeholder Engagement Support the coordination of events including opening nights, press events, industry gatherings, and company socials. Assist with guest lists, stakeholder coordination, and hospitality arrangements. Work closely with production and marketing teams to support event delivery. Maintain strong and professional relationships with external stakeholders. Operational & Office Contribution Contribute to a professional, organised, and welcoming office environment. Support administrative processes and internal operations where required. Assist with onboarding and company initiatives during busy periods. Work with the Operations Manager on logistical and office-related support. This role is dynamic and evolving in line with the needs of the Founder and the business. As such, responsibilities may extend beyond those outlined above, and the successful candidate will be expected to approach this with flexibility and a proactive mindset. Working Hours & Flexibility Standard working hours are 9:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is required, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends. The role may also require responsiveness outside of core hours, particularly when supporting travel across different time zones or during busy production periods. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing occasional personal or ad-hoc appointments on behalf of the Founder during working hours, as part of providing seamless, high-level support. Person Specification Essential 3–5 years’ experience in a PA/EA role, ideally supporting senior leadership. Strong diary and inbox management experience in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Professional, confident, and personable with stakeholders. Strong IT proficiency: Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and similar tools. Discretion and reliability when handling confidential information. Desirable Experience within theatre, entertainment, or creative industries. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Trello, Monday.com). Experience supporting events or productions. Understanding of GDPR and digital asset management.
