PURPOSE OF JOB:
This role can be based from either our Leatherhead HQ or Manchester office.
As a Channel Sales Team Leader at Bytes Software Services, you will spearhead a dynamic team of sales professionals, driving growth by selling to, through, and with our valued partners. Your role will encompass the development and execution of innovative sales strategies, the management of key accounts, and the cultivation of robust client relationships. You will be instrumental in ensuring the team meets and exceeds sales targets, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes excellence and continuous improvement. Your leadership will be pivotal in navigating the complexities of channel sales, ultimately contributing to the sustained success and expansion of our business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of channel sales professionals to achieve both individual and team sales targets within the partner ecosystem.
* Develop and implement effective channel sales strategies aimed at driving revenue growth through and with our partners.
* Manage and nurture key channel accounts, ensuring high levels of partner satisfaction and retention.
* Identify new business opportunities within the channel and devise strategies to expand the partner base.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute impactful channel sales campaigns and promotions.
* Monitor channel sales performance, analyse data, and provide regular reports to senior management.
* Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the channel sales team.
* Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to maintain a competitive edge in the channel sales landscape.
Key Requirements
* Proficiency in Microsoft products and services, essential for effectively navigating and leveraging the Microsoft ecosystem
* Demonstrated success in a sales leadership role
* Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices specific to channel sales.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with partners and team members.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and team members.
* A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, demonstrating a results-driven approach.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess sales performance and develop strategic solutions.
