Shift patterns: Monday to Thursday, 08:00-17:00, Friday's, 08:00-14:30
Location: HM Stocken, near Oakham, LE15 7RD
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a men's category C prison. You will be required to undergo an enhanced security vetting process if you are to be successful for this position. Refer to Essential Criteria for more information.
DHL operates across 21 prison workshops, employing prisoners in warehouse-style work: picking, packing, logistics, and distribution.
We're now looking for a Warehouse Team Leader who will play an integral role in the prisoners' lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation. You'll need to be comfortable handling tough situations and speaking up when the rules aren't followed.

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Leading and managing a group of up to 80 prisoners, ensuring compliance to all Standard Operating Procedures, (SOP's), Health and Safety, and HMP rules and regulations.
* Ensuring operational KPI's are met and exceeded, reconcile stock levels against delivery and pick of each item.
* Drive and support projects and initiatives for continuous improvement.
✅ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* You must have three recent years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance).
You must have right to work in the UK with no limits now or in the future such as British or Irish National, EU Settled Status or Indefinite Leave to Remain. We cannot offer sponsorship for this opportunity.

* Good at communicating firmly, fairly and clearly.
* Are able to demonstrate their people leadership skills.
Experience in a prison or secure environment is an advantage, but we value transferable skills from other work settings.
