Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee a team of 8 employees (3 direct reports and 5 indirect reports). The main responsibilities include providing accurate reporting, monitoring performance, driving system and control improvements, and supporting team development.
Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Lead and develop a high-performing team through effective management and support.
2. Optimize team performance with strategic resource planning.
3. Review and resolve Accounts Payable tickets regularly.
4. Oversee month-end reconciliations and produce KPI reports.
5. Manage financial tasks including PO exceptions, cashflow submissions, and payment reports.
6. Ensure compliance with SOX controls for finance processes.
7. Conduct CIS reviews and approvals.
8. Assist with audits by providing documentation and collaborating with auditors.
9. Handle insurance claims and ensure timely resolutions.
10. Support team leaders, approve payment runs, and manage PO price mismatches.
11. Participate in process improvement projects and foster business partnerships.
