Health and Safety Manager
Location: Home Counties & Greater London
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Package / Benefits

Our client is a long-established and highly respected construction contractor specialising in reinforced concrete frames, groundworks, and civil engineering. They operate across the residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors, delivering packages ranging from £5 million to £20 million nationwide. As their project portfolio grows, they seek high-calibre professionals.
About the Role
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, we are seeking a Health and Safety Manager to oversee H&S operations across 3–5 active sites in the Home Counties and Greater London.
This is a hands-on, mobile role focused on embedding a positive safety culture on site. Responsibilities include enforcing safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring legal compliance through preparing method statements, risk assessments, and construction phase plans.
Responsibilities
1. Monitor and enforce site safety across multiple projects
2. Develop and implement site-specific health and safety plans
3. Conduct inspections and audits, reporting findings and recommendations
4. Collaborate with site teams to improve H&S performance
About You
* NEBOSH or IOSH certification is essential
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction Health & Safety
* Background in civil engineering, RC Frame, or groundwork subcontracting
* Confident communicator with a proactive approach to site safety
Salary & Benefits
* Competitive salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum
