Job Role: Senior Support Worker – Children’s Residential
Location: Spalding
Pay: £15.25 – £15.85 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time | Permanent | 39 Hours per Week
Full UK Driving Licence Required
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join a well-established Children’s Residential service in Spalding on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with children’s residential experience who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and growing organisation.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will help provide a safe, stable, and nurturing home for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. Working closely with the Registered Manager and wider team, you will support the delivery of high-quality, therapeutic care while leading by example and helping junior staff develop.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 12 months’ experience in a Children’s Residential setting
* Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare
* Experience or knowledge of child-centred therapeutic care models
* Strong communication skills with a caring, flexible, and resilient approach
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Ability to work shifts, long days, and sleep-ins
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting children and young people in a residential setting
* Promoting a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment
* Leading by example and supporting junior team members
* Working collaboratively with managers and external professionals
* Delivering person-centred therapeutic care plans
* Ensuring safeguarding and care standards are consistently maintained
