Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary) Gateshead, NE21 £440 – £460 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) October 2025 – July 2026 The School and Role On behalf of this Primary School in Gateshead (NE21), Vision for Education are seeking to appoint a Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis. The successful Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant will be working within Upper KS2 (Year 5/6) to provide a range of support to class teachers and pupils. This will involve leading small group sessions, working with children on a 1:1 basis, and providing general support. This is a ‘Good’ school where pupils feel supported by staff, and have the tools to learn and make progress. Requirements The desired Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant will have;
* Experience of working with primary school aged children
* Experience of working with pupils with SEND
* A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
* An ability to work as part of a team
