We are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing & Commercial Strategy to lead the Marketing Department and oversee the company’s commercial strategy. This senior leadership role forms part of the Senior Management Team, contributing to wider business strategy and supporting growth objectives. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, managing marketing, sales, and customer service to drive commercial success and enhance market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
11. Drive demand generation and new business growth
12. Develop and implement a coordinated commercial strategy aligning marketing, sales, and customer service
13. Strengthen and promote the brand internationally through marketing initiatives
14. Oversee marketing campaigns, communications, and digital activity including website strategy, SEO, AI search visibility (GEO/AEO), content marketing, and online lead generation
15. Understand paid search, paid social, SEO, Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), and content marketing
16. Support subscription renewals through engagement programmes and value reinforcement
17. Ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience across all commercial touchpoints
18. Collaborate with senior managers to identify commercial opportunities and support business growth
19. Analyse market trends and customer needs
20. Encourage cross-team collaboration and a strong culture of teamwork
21. Leadership and people management responsibilities
The Successful Candidate:
22. Significant experience in marketing or commercial leadership roles
23. Experience managing and developing teams
24. Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
25. Experience delivering demand generation, brand development, and customer engagement initiatives
26. Understanding of modern digital marketing including paid search, paid social, SEO, content marketing, and emerging AI-driven search visibility (GEO/AEO)
27. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
28. Proactive, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
29. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
